An Angell’s Life of Bookish Goodness is Coming!
Do you love books? Not just reading, but reading reviews, booktubers, bookstagram, author interviews, and bookish goodies?
ME TOO!
For almost five years, I have been running An Angell’s Life blog where I did author interviews, book reviews, character spotlights, poetry, and book announcements. During that time, I have expanded to offer extra awesome bookish content on Facebook, Twitter, Booktube, Bookstagram, and Goodreads.
In April, one of my fans and I were talking about all the awesome bookish goodness, and how social media makes it difficult for her to see all of it, when she has a limited amount of time online. That, combined with some other conversations with authors and readers was the birth of An Angell’s Life of Bookish Goodness on Patreon.
What’s Patreon? I hear you asking. Well, it’s a subscription service that allows you to be a patron to your favorite creatives while also getting exclusive content. It started out as a tool for musicians on Youtube, and has quickly expanded to be accessible for any creative.
With my subscription, you can have access to all of my bookish goodness that you want, based on the level you choose from Bookish Novice ($1 a month.) all the way up to Book God/ Goddess ($6 a month. You can learn more about the different levels by looking at the right side of my Patreon page.) Now, I will admit, if you want to follow me on all those social media pages, then you can track down all this awesome bookish goodness for free. However, I have community goals that once achieved will provide you exclusive bookish goodness every month.
When I get 100 Patrons, I will do e-book raffles buying a certain number of books each month from the author, and providing them to my patrons. Once we hit 500 patrons, we will add paperbacks to the giveaway mix, and when we hit 1,000 I will create awesome book crates to add to the giveaways!
What kind of books? I hear you asking. My sons and I run An Angell’s Life (Hence the name.) and we are a diverse group of readers. Everything from business books to science fiction, from paranormal romance to fantasy, from thrillers to horror, Young Adult and everything in between. We will choose the giveaways based on Patron votes.
