Yesterday: Yesterday started with my midnight queue to get onto the Tesco’s website to try and book a food order for the latter part of the month. I’m having to go between Tesco and Asda to get a slot now which is really annoying. Honestly at times the food situation causes me more stress than the virus threat. I don’t drive and I have a medical condition which makes carrying a lot of groceries almost impossible so its been quite a worry for me as I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t get online orders. I had to wait about ten minutes but I was able to get a slot and do my shopping. Mission accomplished so I set my alarm and went to sleep.
I got up at about 8am and after getting dressed I went down to my local Tesco express to get milk and also see if they had any pasta and loo roll in. They had neither so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they turn up with my order on Thursday as I am starting to have to ration what I have left! I then cleaned my flat (and bleached the door handles again). I spoke to Mum and Dad on the phone. They are fine, are keeping busy and have neighbours and the village buddy system helping them which is good.
I had a pizza for lunch as a treat and when I went to do the washing up I found that Tash had decided to sit in my dish drainer! I think she was actually asleep in there before she heard me coming and sat up!
I spent the rest of the day playing my Sims. My prediction about Don was right and he left Bella for Nina Caliente! Luckily Bella has found love again with her lodger/slave Mitchell Kalani and they are raising her daughter Dallas Lothario together!
Today: I spent most of the day writing Perfect World 3. I will probably never have this much free time again so I am going to take as much advantage of it as possible to get it written. I also saw my Sims again this afternoon. It was Winterfest (aka Christmas!)! Poor Mitchell kept being given the empty present containing only sadness and lies 😦 but Bella and Dallas had a blast! Don came round to see his daughter but then ditched her to try and seduce Bella again. She is wise to his charms now and kicked him out!
Linda G. Hill came up with this great idea to keep track of the weeks and months ahead. For those who already are, and will be isolated in the coming weeks, it is important to all come together and support each other.
You’d think a dish drainer wouldn’t be very comfortable. Then again, I’m not a cat, so what do I know?:-)
Yeah I thought that too but they do sleep in funny places! My sister’s cat used to sleep in the washing machine!
